The Alphacool inline particle filter from the Enterprise Solutions product range catches dirt particles from the cooling loop. This protects sensitive components such as pumps or the fine cooling fins.
Flexible installation
The ES Inline Particle Filter 2x G1/4" IG from Alphacool can be integrated at any point in the cooling loop. However, it is important to ensure that the filter is facing downwards after installation. By default, the filter is equipped with adapters that make it compatible with all G1/4" fittings. Removing the adapters allows the use of G3/8" fittings as well – offering maximum flexibility in system design.
Function
Due to the large surface area of the screen filter, the flow rate of the coolant inside the particle filter decreases, allowing the suspended particles to settle to the bottom. Lowering the flow rate within the filter has no adverse effect on the general flow rate of the cooling loop.
